About Resilient Path Counseling & Therapy
I believe therapy should feel safe, grounded, and collaborative. Many clients come to therapy having spent years managing responsibilities, relationships, and expectations while neglecting their own emotional needs. Others arrive feeling stuck in repeating cycles—internally or within their relationships—without understanding why change feels so difficult.
My work focuses on helping individuals and couples slow down, understand their emotional and relational patterns, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Understanding Your Journey
I work with adults navigating anxiety and chronic stress, particularly high-functioning professionals who feel pressured to “hold it together.” I also support couples stuck in pursue–withdraw cycles, where one partner seeks closeness and the other pulls away. My practice includes adults processing trauma and relationship stress, including unresolved past experiences that continue to affect the present, as well as individuals with a history of substance use, including those in recovery or seeking greater emotional stability.
If you feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from your partner, or uncertain why old patterns keep resurfacing, therapy can help you slow things down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

My Experience
I have spent more than two decades working in behavioral health, including extensive experience supporting individuals affected by substance use disorders. This work has shaped my ability to recognize patterns of survival, attachment, and coping that often show up in anxiety, relationships, and trauma-related concerns.
My experience allows me to support clients with complexity, nuance, and care—without judgment or assumptions.

A Unique and Trustworthy Approach
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in trust. Many of the clients I work with are capable, insightful individuals who have spent years managing stress, relationships, and responsibilities—often at the expense of their own emotional well-being.
With over 26 years of experience working with substance use disorders, I bring a deep understanding of how coping strategies develop, why they persist, and how emotional regulation, trauma, and relationships intersect. This background informs my work with clients who may not identify substance use as their primary concern but recognize patterns of avoidance, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection.
"You do not have to navigate this alone."
